What data we process
We only process data you actively provide:
- Name, company name, email address and phone number (if filled in) via the contact form, email or phone.
- The content of your message or request, including any attachments.
- Technical data that your browser sends by default when loading a website (IP address, browser type, pages visited). These are not linked to your identity.
What we use your data for
- Answering your question or preparing a quote.
- Following up on an ongoing request or assignment.
- Meeting legal obligations (such as bookkeeping and invoicing during an assignment).
We do not use your data for marketing purposes and we do not share it with third parties, unless this is required to carry out an assignment (e.g. a transport partner) or when we are legally obliged to do so.
Retention period
Inquiries and correspondence are kept for a maximum of two years, unless they result in an active or completed assignment — in which case the statutory retention periods for administration apply (seven years for financial records). After that, data is destroyed.
Cookies and third parties
This website does not place tracking cookies and does not use analytics software that collects personal data. On the contact page, a Google Maps map is embedded via an iframe, which establishes a connection with Google. The contact form uses Netlify Forms — your submission is stored on Netlify's servers (EU region where possible) and forwarded to us by email.
Your rights
- Access to the data we hold about you.
- Correction or deletion of your data.
- Objection to or restriction of processing.
- Data portability.
You can submit a request to info@cm-international.nl. We respond within four weeks. If you disagree with how we handle your request, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing. Internal access to personal data is limited to employees who need it for their work.

This privacy policy may be updated when laws or regulations require. The most recent version is always available on this page.
